Bill Murray, who was the fifth child of none, was born to Lucille and Edward Murray. Bill, and most of the other kids, made money to attend Loyola Academy by working as caddies. He did a little acting and played sports. He has been quoted as saying he mostly “screwed off.”
He studied at Regis College in Denver and studied some pre-med, but later quit going, Afterwards, he joined the National Lampoon Radio Hour with other cast members such as Dan Aykroyd, Gilda Rander and John Belushi.
Three of those cast members went on to Saturday Night Live, where they were the original cast members. Later, Bill Murray joined the cast as well.
